Which rawhide size should I get for my dog?
Length matters more than shape. Start with the muzzle, then pick the shape that suits how your dog chews.

The muzzle rule
Measure from the tip of the nose to the stop between the eyes. Buy a chew longer than that.
Lengths in the Pet Factory range
- Small breeds: 3 in mini rolls, 3–4 in donuts, 4 in and 4–5 in knotted bones, 5 in twist sticks.
- Small to medium: 5 in chip rolls, 6 in knotted bones and braided sticks.
- Medium: 7–8 in rolls and braids, 6–7 in bones, CareChewz 6–7 in.
- Large: 9–10 in and 12 in knotted bones, 12 in rolls, 8–9 in assorted bags, the 20–22 in bone.
Shape by chewing style
Power chewers get the most from knotted bones and braids, which pack more hide into the same length. Steady chewers do well on rolls. Dogs that gulp are better on collagen or munchy rolls, under close watch.
